For this edition, we are honoured to welcome Mr. Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman of the Banyan Group and founding Chairman of the Singapore Management University. Mr. Ho will be in conversation with Clarence Singam and Rachel Yeo, ExCo members of Proud Spaces. Together, they will explore the intersections of allyship and civic participation.
Drawing from Mr. Ho’s personal journey—from his early experiences with political activism to his continued leadership in business and engagement with public discourse and civil society—the conversation will reflect on how convictions evolve over time, and what responsibilities individuals have in shaping a more inclusive society.
The discussion will use LGBTQIA+ issues as a starting point and can explore allyship as a lens through which to examine broader questions of solidarity and social responsibility.
