Book: Two Women Living Together
In Two Women Living Together, platonic galpals Hwang Sunwoo and Kim Hana flout gender norms and societal expectations with their decision to grow old together under one roof.
Inspired by their story, this lighthearted book discussion explores cohabitation, chosen family, and how the ways we live and care for one another might shape our mental and social wellbeing.
The discussion also considers queer ageing in the context of a super-aged Singapore. While it’s specially curated for community members in their 40s and beyond, all are welcome to register!
Special guest Gene Png, literary translator of Two Women Living Together will feature in the discussion segment.
Co-hosted by Pageturner, BOLD Community and Proud Spaces — Living Together, Living Well is presented as part of October in Mind, a Proud Spaces initiative nurturing mental wellbeing by strengthening social support, connection and community resilience.
