Inspired by the therapeutic potential of creating with found objects and recycled materials, Scraps to Stories invites participants to transform scrap materials and everyday bits and bobs into personal artworks that hold meaning and memory.
This event is a pilot for Scrappy Art Studio, an upcoming initiative by Gentle Spaces Therapy that aims to build a community of individuals looking to reconnect with art-making as a gentle way of practising imperfection and finding joy in experimenting. No art experience needed, just an openness to play, explore, and embrace the process of creativity.
Materials will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own scraps and tools to create with.
This event is exclusive to queer women, trans and non-binary individuals.
