In fast-paced Singapore, it can be hard to find space to simply be…without explaining, performing, or holding everything alone. Ours to Hold is an intimate, two-hour interactive gathering at Proud Spaces for queer people, friends, allies, and curious listeners to share, listen, and reflect on the many realities of queer life. Together, we will explore stories, feelings, and everyday experiences through gentle conversation and live artistic responses incorporating movement and music.
This event is for :
-
Queer individuals who wish to share or listen in a warm, intentional space
-
People of all ages, identities, and stages of life
-
Those who are out, questioning, private, outspoken, celebratory, or somewhere in between
-
Friends and allies who want to listen with care and better understand queer lived experiences
What to expect
We’re co-creating a gentle, authentic participatory space rooted in presence, reflection, and connection. Our team comprises members of the LGBTQ community, allies, arts facilitators and creative practitioners.
This is a supportive, non-judgmental community gathering. Think of it as a living human library: a space to witness one another, listen to one another, exchange perspectives, and connect across differences.
