In our current context where youths have a sense of awareness and with the emphasis on mental health, it is crucial that everyone feel safe, valued and supported. It is important to consider which strategies we can use to create inclusive learning environments for LGBTQ+ learners.

By implementing these strategies, we can empower LGBTQ+ learners to thrive academically and personally, while promoting acceptance and respect among all. This is a 2 hour workshop that explores strategies in supporting educators should they encounter teachable moments in learning environments, by equipping them with a repertoire of skills & knowledge in building safe & inclusive learning spaces.
